Privacy Policy for AI Voice

01Interpretation and Definitions

Words with capitalised first letters have the meanings defined below. These definitions apply whether the words appear in singular or plural.

• Application means the AI Voice mobile application for Android (package com.voxly.voxly).
• Service means the Application together with the voice-to-text, AI writing, translation, history and floating-assistant features provided through it and the AI Voice backend.
• Company, We, Us or Our refers to Gree Web Solutions, Surat, Gujarat, India (website: https://greewebsolutions.com).
• You or Your means the individual using the Application.
• Personal Data means information that identifies, relates to, or can reasonably be linked to you.
• Content means the text you dictate or type into the Application, and the results the Service writes for you.

02Information We Collect

We collect only what is needed to run the features you use.

A. Information you provide

• Account details: your name, email address and password. Your password is never stored as typed — we keep only a salted, one-way hash of it (scrypt), so no one, including us, can read it.
• Preferences: the language you speak, the language you translate into, your default tone and your theme.
• Your Content: what you dictate or type, and the results AI Voice writes for you, saved in your history so you can find them again.
• Reports: if you report a result AI Voice wrote, the reported text, what you said, the reason you chose and any details you add, so we can review it.
• Support messages: anything you send us when you contact support.
• Reports you send: if you report an AI result from inside the app, we receive the result, what you said, and the reason and note you choose, so we can review it. Reports are deleted with your account.
• Subscription details: if you buy AI Voice Pro: that you are subscribed, your plan, when it ends, and the Google Play purchase token we use to confirm it with Google. We never see or store your card or other payment details; Google Play handles payment.

B. Information collected automatically

• Advertising and device data (free accounts): AI Voice shows ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google collects your device’s advertising ID, IP address, device and app information (such as model, operating system and app version) and how you interact with ads. AI Voice does not send your text, name or email to Google for advertising. AI Voice Pro subscribers are not shown ads.
• App usage analytics: AI Voice uses Google Firebase Analytics to learn which screens and buttons are used and how ads and the app perform. This includes an app-instance ID, device and app information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and events such as screen views and button taps. It never includes what you dictate or the results AI Voice writes, and never your name or email.
• Usage counts: how many writes you make each day and of which kind, to apply the free daily limit. These records contain no text.
• App install id: a random identifier created on your phone, used to keep your sign-in secure and to sign out every session on that phone at once. It is not linked to your device hardware.
• Basic server logs: time, request path, result and an anonymous account id, for security and reliability. Logs never contain your text or passwords.

AI Voice does not collect your contacts, photos, files, precise location, call logs or SMS messages. What you dictate is never used for advertising.

03Your Voice and the Microphone

AI Voice uses the microphone only while you are dictating — after you tap the microphone and until you tap Done. It never listens in the background.

Speech is converted to text by your phone’s own speech-recognition service (on most Android phones, Google’s), in the language you chose to speak in. That service handles the audio under its own privacy terms. The AI Voice app does not upload or store your recordings — AI Voice receives only the recognised text.

04How We Use Information

• Core features: to polish, rewrite and translate your text when you ask, and to show your history.
• Your account: to sign you in, keep your account secure, and send password-reset codes and security notices by email.
• Preferences: to apply your languages, tone and theme on every device you sign in on.
• Notifications: to show the notifications described in the Notifications section.
• Fair use & safety: to apply the free daily limit, prevent abuse and fix problems.
• Ads and analytics: to show ads on free accounts and to measure how the app is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use what you dictate or the results AI Voice writes for advertising or to build profiles about you. Ads shown in AI Voice are served by Google AdMob using the data described in “Information We Collect”, subject to the choices in “Your Privacy Rights”.

05The Floating Assistant (Accessibility Service)

Prominent disclosure: AI Voice uses Android’s Accessibility Service API for one purpose only — to put the text you created with AI Voice into the text field you are typing in, when you tap Insert.

The floating assistant is optional. To insert your text, it notices which text field is focused and where the on-screen keyboard is (so the bubble stays above it), and at the moment you tap Insert it reads that one field’s current text so your words are added at the cursor instead of replacing what you already typed. It never reads password, PIN, OTP or payment fields. Nothing it sees is stored, logged or sent anywhere.

AI Voice does not use this access to monitor your activity, read other apps’ content, or perform actions you didn’t ask for. You turn it on yourself, and can turn it off at any time in Settings → Accessibility.

The floating bubble is drawn over other apps (the “Display over other apps” permission) and shows an ongoing notification while it is running, as Android requires.

06App Permissions

AI Voice requests only the Android permissions its features need. Optional ones are asked for only when you turn the related feature on.

Hear you while you dictate, only after you tap the microphone.

android.permission.INTERNET

Sign in, and send your text to be polished, translated and saved.

android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE

Check for a connection before sending a request.

android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS

Show account confirmations, reminders and the assistant’s status (Android 13+).

android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW

Draw the optional floating assistant over other apps.

BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE

Insert your AI Voice text into the focused field, as described above. Enabled by you in Settings.

android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE (microphone, special use)

Keep the floating assistant running, and let it use the microphone while you dictate through it.

android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED

Re-schedule your reminder notifications after the phone restarts.

android.permission.WAKE_LOCK

Deliver scheduled reminders on time.

android.permission.VIBRATE

Haptic feedback on taps (can be turned off in the app).

com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID

Lets Google AdMob use your advertising ID to serve and measure ads (free accounts).

com.android.vending.BILLING

Lets you subscribe to AI Voice Pro through Google Play.

07Service Providers

We share data only with the service providers we need to run AI Voice, and only the data each one needs. They process it on our behalf and under their own privacy terms.

08Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT sell, rent or trade your personal data. In the free version, Google AdMob receives the advertising and device data described above to serve and measure ads.

• Service providers: as listed above, strictly to operate and secure the Service.
• Legal compliance: when required by law, court order or a valid request from a public authority.
• Protection: to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public or the Service.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

09Notifications

With your permission, AI Voice shows notifications created on your phone: a confirmation when you sign in or out, update your profile, clear your history or delete your account, and up to three friendly reminders a day. They never include your messages or personal details. Turn them off any time from the app’s Profile tab, or in Android’s settings.

10Legal Bases for Processing (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

• Performance of a contract: to provide the features you ask for.
• Consent: for the microphone, notifications, the floating assistant and the Accessibility Service, and for the advertising and analytics identifiers (ads and analytics only run after you agree in the consent message) — each of which you can withdraw at any time.
• Legitimate interests: to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and improve reliability.
• Legal obligation: where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.

11Your Privacy Rights

In the app you can see and edit your profile and preferences, change your password, delete history items, clear your history and delete your account at any time from the app’s Profile tab. Depending on where you live — including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, the GDPR and U.S. state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA — you may also have the right to:

• Access: ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure: ask us to delete your account and data.
• Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent / grievance: withdraw a consent you gave, or raise a complaint with us or your local data-protection authority.

To exercise these rights, email info@greewebsolutions.com. We respond within 30 days, and will never discriminate against you for exercising them.

Ads and analytics choices: you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation in Android Settings → Google → Ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, AI Voice asks for your consent before any ad is requested, and you can change that choice at any time in the app under Profile → Ad privacy choices. Subscribing to AI Voice Pro removes ads.

12Data Retention and Account Deletion

• Account data: kept while your account is active.
• History: kept until you delete an item, clear your history, or delete your account.
• Reports: kept until they have been reviewed, and deleted with your account.
• Usage counts: contain no text, and are kept for fair-use and abuse prevention.
• Password-reset codes: expire after 10 minutes.
• Subscription details: kept while your subscription is active and afterwards only as long as needed for billing, tax and legal reasons. They are removed when you delete your account, except where the law requires us to keep them.

Delete your account in the app under Profile → Account → Delete account — it takes effect immediately. If you no longer have the app, use our account-deletion page or email us, and we will delete your account within 30 days.

Deleting your account permanently removes your name, email, preferences, password, entire history and any reports you sent, and signs you out on every device. This cannot be undone.

Deleting your account does not cancel a AI Voice Pro subscription. Google Play bills you, so cancel it yourself in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or you will continue to be charged.

13Children’s Privacy

AI Voice is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), its ads are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact info@greewebsolutions.com and we will delete it.

14Data Security

• All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS / TLS). The app refuses unencrypted connections.
• Passwords are stored only as salted scrypt hashes.
• Sign-in tokens are kept in your phone’s secure storage (Android Keystore) and stored on our side only as one-way hashes.
• Access to your data is limited to your own authenticated account.

No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

15International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed on servers located outside your state or country, including by the AI providers listed above, where data-protection laws may differ. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and encrypted transfer.

16Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy we will update the version and effective date on this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
